Nearly 5 years after it was delivered to HSV and well into the development of VT models, PP30 was given its genuine HSV identification plate ENG.DEVT.SENATOR Build No PP30 stamped 25th June 1997. HSV sold PP30 unregistered and with no engine number to Star Performance in November 1997. During Starr’s ownership, the car was legitimised, given a new engine number by Victoria Police, and registered. Peter Starr sold PP30 to in 2004. The vehicle was then on-sold to another private buyer in 2008. The private buyer obtained a new RWC and renewed the registration which he eventually cancelled in 2012. The current owner acquired PP30 in 2016.
Other than some irregular use as a daily drive for a couple of years after 2008, PP30 is still in the same condition as it was when it left HSV in 1997. The car has less than 9,000km in the last 11 years.Press Reports:
